Botany, Plant Science - Week of July 10
Explore plant science, known as botany, as students experiment with plant selection and act as scientists to cultivate a garden of their choice. Students will learn about the life cycles and growth of flowers, fruits, vegetables, and venomous plants. Scientists will also become experts on plant biology in regards to plant cells and natural adaptations.

Creative Writing & Spoken Poetry - Week of July 10
This course offers an in-depth look into a diverse selection of genres and writing forms, with a focus on Poetry, specifically Performance Poetry. You will learn how to express yourself through written poetry while taking your passion to another level, working on your public speaking skills, language skills, poetic vocabulary, all while analyzing poetic structure. You will be able to expand your self-awareness and self-confidence as you learn how to write, then deliver and perform poetry through projection, annunciation and rhythm. The last day of camp will include an opportunity to present them aloud as a performance piece before a live audience.

Digital Multimedia - Week of July 17
Through hands-on collaborative activities and fun introductory lessons, students will gain a basic understanding of the current world of digital media related to storytelling. Students will explore a new production topic each day, ranging from photography, audio, film production and graphic design using cameras, computers and production equipment. Students will leave the course with mini projects and real-world skills to create digital content using their own personal devices or industry equipment.
Bread Heads - Week of July 17
In this class you will learn fun techniques when making breads, rolls and muffins! Recipes will include buttery single knots, breadsticks, breadscapes (creating art with bread and vegetables) as well as delicious assorted muffins and quickbreads.
Musical Theatre - Week of July 24
This workshop is designed for students who are interested in musical theater, singing, dancing, and acting. Over the course of a week, get ready to work on vocal technique, character study, improvisation, stage presence, dance preparation, audition preparation, and much more! Students will work on their own audition pieces and the course ends with a final performance recital for family and friends! Great for students preparing for auditions in school, or other theatrical dreams. If you are looking to make yourself a stronger performer, this is the course for you!
Comic Book Development - Week of July 24
Create your very own comic book with detailed illustrations. Learn how to pencil, ink and color your own comic book panel, draw original comic book characters, and learn the basics of drawing people and animals
Hands on History - Week of July 24
This camp is designed to give students an overview of major time periods of world history through various hands-on activities. Campers will travel through time and across continents while being introduced to different major events and people of the past each day. Activities include learning about Japanese Tea Ceremonies and then having one of our own, learning about the Italian Renaissance and the works of famous artists such as Michaelangelo and creating their own masterpieces, and visiting the site of the French Revolution by virtually touring the halls of Versailles.
Exploring Anime - Week of July 31
Do you enjoy fictional Manga and Anime? Then this is the workshop for you! Learn to construct your own fictional manga and anime world. You will explore the basics of world-building for manga or anime and gain an understanding of how to give your story a distinct visual identity. Students are expected to have some basic drawing skills.
S.T.E.M. Crime Scene Investigation - Week of August 7
STEM concepts relating to Forensics and solving Crime Scenes are explored. The lecture, labs and exercises will cover many “CSI” topics including: collecting, analyzing and classifying fingerprints, creating & examining blood spatter patterns, casting footprints, and so much more…. This is a very hands-on and interactive enrichment class for students. Current or retired Detectives teach this class.

Junior Naturalist - Week of August 14
Learn how birds and beasts catch their prey. Flow through the food chain and discover how animals and insects adapt to life on our planet. Explore how a change in the wind, water and temperature affects all of Earth's inhabitants. Build a birdhouse, a bug house to observe critters and make animal tracks!
Bricks4Kids: Robotics - Week of August 14

Students will build projects using the hottest selling LEGO® brand Mindstorms ® combining classic LEGO® building with the world of robotics, using LEGO ® EV3 programmable bricks, PCs, motors, sensors, and software. Bricks 4 Kidz® utilizes the Mindstorms ® EV3 technologies, programming, and our unique robot models. Students are introduced to the graphic programming language, introducing them at an early age to succeed in a technology-based marketplace. STEM concepts and teamwork are combined in this engaging program where students learn real-life skills while having real-kid fun!
